The pair are fighting on the undercard of the European and British title match between Lee Selby and Rendall Munroe at an event that will also see Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua in action.

It is the first show of the year for Match Room Boxing and Sky Sports and Reading boxer Mucha, who is managed by Selby’s manager Chris Sanigar, said: “This is the biggest test of my professional career so far and it is the biggest stage I will have fought on. I will be looking to impress and do my best to represent Reading.”

His opponent Findlay, 29, has a record of five wins and four losses from his 10 professional fights but should provide a good test at the Motorpoint Arena.

Mucha, pictured left, has not fought since September 13 when he beat Kevin McCauley on points to record a sixth straight win.

He was recently the subject of a community film made by national charity Fixers, highlighting the positive influence he has had on youngsters in Reading.

The feature will be shown on the ITV news on February 6 and will also be shown at a community screening.
