Ida Burrows
READING Blue Coat Year 12 student Ida Burrows has been selected for the Swedish national triathlon team.
The 17-year-old will take part in the Swedish Cup next month, and then during the summer holidays, she will go to the qualifiers for the youth Olympic Games in Spain.
Later in the summer, Burrows will take part in the European championships in Greece.
Last year she qualified to represent GB in her age group in the Sprint Triathlon World Championships in Rotterdam and achieved 18th place in her third-ever triathlon.
