Trebles from Mark Banks and Danny Moses helped two-man table-toppers Kingfisher A defeat Kingfisher E 7-3 in Division One.

Martin Adams and Moses both got maximums in Kingfisher A’s 8-2 win over Sonning Common & Peppard A, while Neil Hurford and Gary Morgan were victorious for for Sonning.

Andrew Parker and Marko Essomba collected trebles as Kingfisher C beat Kingfisher D 8-2, while Harry Munro and Ian Cole matched that feat in Our Lady of Peace A's 9-1 demolition of Tidmarsh A, Danny Ricks helping avoid the whitewash.

Tidmarsh A and Kingfisher D battled out a 5-5 draw, Phil Mead and Nigel Keedy both winning twice for Kingfisher while for Tidmarsh, Ricks won all three.

In Division Two, Tidmarsh C lost 8-2 at third-placed Sonning Common & Peppard D, trebles picked up by Niall McGrane and Malcolm Gregory.

Our Lady of Peace D beat Our Lady of Peace E 7–3 in Division Four, despite a Johnson Xu hat-trick for the E team.

Reading FC A’s hopes of reaching a third successive final in the Lower Divisions Knockout Cup is over following a 6-3 loss to a fine all-round team performance from OLOP D.

Two sets apiece from each pairing were sufficient to see off the Reading side, despite a valiant maximum from Richard Witt/Antony Alleyne.

OLOP will now meet Curzon C in the final.

Curzon recorded an 8-1 win at Springfield D, where Colin Jones and Adrian Wegrzynowski finally lost their 100 per cent unbeaten record.

However, they did manage to pick up Springfield’s consolation set.

The Tracy Maynard/John Walker and Tracy/Linda King pairings were unbeaten on the night, although the former had to work hard for their maximum, with winning game scores of 13-11, 12-10 and 11-9.

In the Team Handicap, there will be a repeat of last season's final between OLOP B and Reading FC A.

Holders OLOP have shown they are in no mood to relinquish their hold on the trophy following an unsympathetic 9-0 drubbing of their E team.

Impressive maximums came from Abhay Gore, Binit Bhaskar and Harikrishna Laddunuri, and only two sets required a deciding game. Gore and Laddunuri are so far unbeaten in the competition.

The Reading team of Witt, Alleyne and Jazz Dhillon also won without dropping a set, in a match which finished early at 6-0 due to injury.
