Bowls: Double success for Berkshire while Rivermead lose to Carterton
BERKSHIRE Ladies beat Desborough men 114-92 and Whiteknights Ladies 92-86 last weekend.
Top rink against Desborough – plus 14 shots – was skipped by Penny Watson with June Sculthorpe, Jo Lawrie and Ching Crunden, with the honours against Whiteknights going to skip Mary Parkinson with Yoneko Stuart and Yvonne Hurley. They were plus 10 shots.
Rivermead lost 103-51 to Carterton in the Wessex League.
