READING Racers make another attempt to get their away matches underway this Friday against Exeter Falcons.

After previous rained off matches, Racers travel to Falcons’ adopted home track, the Oak Tree Arena in Somerset.

Sitting second in the Southern Development League, the Reading management are hoping for a big display on what is regarded as one of the best race tracks in the country.

After league leaders Kent Kestrels triumphed at Plymouth last week, Reading captain Luke Harris is determined to keep up the chase, and with fellow National League regular William O’Keefe relishing his first appearance at the circuit, Racers will be looking to complete the double over their Devon rivals after beating them at Eastbourne earlier this month.

Racers regular Stephen Whitehouse is again included, while Woking-based 16-year-old Jamie Bursill steps into the team for a debut appearance.

Line-ups: Exeter Falcons: Stevie Anderson, Andrew Palmer, Jamie Sealey, Craig Nethercott.

Reading Racers: Luke Harris, Jamie Bursill, William O’Keefe, Stephen Whitehouse.
