TWO new fixtures have been announced for Reading Racers in the coming weeks.
Firstly – in a bid to give the team some added experience on their new home track – a challenge match has been arranged at Eastbourne against a select team put together by Eastbourne Promoter Connor Dugard on Saturday.
The match will run under the standard Development League format following the Eastbourne Eagles-Belle Vue Colts National League match.
It will be a good work-out for the Racers as Dugard is sure to include some riders with vast experience of the Arlington Stadium track.
The league match against Kent Kestrels, which was postponed on June 3, has been rearranged for Saturday, July 1.
Reading are anticipating a tough match, but look to be able to track their full team – including captain Luke Harris (pictured) – and will be confident of overturning the current league leaders.
