WHITEKNIGHTS men reached the quarter finals of the London & Southern Counties Shield with an 80-67 victory against Foxhill.
The Earley-based club – who won on three of the rinks and drew the other – will play St. Neots & District, from Cambridgeshire, in the last eight.
They also beat Loddon Vale 33-31 in a tense game to reach the quarter finals of the Denny Memorial Cup.
Whiteknights won by one shot on both rinks and will now play West Berks for a place in the semi finals.
Whiteknights beat Isle of Wight 136-133 in a mixed friendly.
Top rink for the Knights was skipped by Peter Knight. They were plus nine shots.
Whiteknights won six of the seven rinks in a crushing 200-70 mixed friendly win against Burnham.
The top rink – plus 30 shots – was skipped by Steve Giles with Viv Harper and Mike Holmes.
