Full time: Reading 2 - 0 Leeds United.

90 mins. That's nine for the season for Le Fondre now making his top of Reading's scoring charts.

Not bad for a player who rarely starts these days.

Final Reading sub sees Mullins replace Robson-Kanu.

89 mins. Reading 2 - 0 Leeds United.

ADAM LE FONDRE nets his second goal in five minutes to send Royals to the top of the Championship table.

Leigertwood beat his man then passes to Roberts who turns and shoots. Le Fondre then nips in to divert it past Lonergan from a couple of yards out.

Two classy, close-range finishes from Reading's fox in the box has surely won this game.

89 mins. GGGOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL

86 mins. Final Leeds change: Mikael Forssell for Becchio.

85 mins. Leeds subs: Robbie Rogers for McCormack and Danny Webber for Snodgrass.

84 mins. Reading 1 - 0 Leeds United.

ADAM LE FONDRE puts Reading in front - and this time he's not offside.

Kebe put in a brilliant cross to the back post and Robson-Kanu did superbly to head the ball back across goal and over Lonergan for Le Fondre to chest the ball over the line from a yard out.

Unbridled scenes of joy on the Reading bench as Brian McDemrott hugs Noel Hunt.

84 mins. GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL

82 mins. The Madstad erupts as Le Fondre sticks the ball in the net - but is flagged for offside. So unlucky.

81 mins. Another Reading chance as Leigertwood blazes one over from a good position.

Today's attendance is 22,775 including 3,126 Leeds fans.

80 mins. Another promising Reading attack ends with Kebe trying to do too much and running the ball out for a goal kick.

'We've only got 10 men' sing the Leeds faithful.

79 mins. Pearce's header is cleared off the Leeds line in a spell of concerted Royals pressure. It just won't go in the for the home side.

77 mins. Another Leeds chance as McCormack forces an important save from Federici.

76 mins. Leeds United get away with a clear handball then Reading concede a soft free kick when Becchio goes down. The fans voice their disapproval and it sums up Reading's day.

73 mins. Great chance for Leeds as McCormack weaves his way into the box and tees up Snodgrass who has time and space to shoot. But Adam Federici guesses right and pulls off a vital save to keep the scores level.

71 mins. Warning for Royals as McCormack hits a shot just wide from the edge of the box after Kebe lost the ball.

68 mins. Reading sub: Adam Le Fondre for Noel Hunt.

65 mins. Another great save from Longergan to punch Harte's free-kick clear.

64 mins. Longergan does well to stop Harte's corner going directly in. Reading piling on the pressure now.

61 mins. Play is stopped after Tom Lees took a bang to the face from Roberts. Accidental.

60 mins. An hour gone now and still we await the opening goal. Leeds are hanging on, but Reading aren't using their extra man that well either. They're not passing it enough and not using the width of the pitch.

58 mins. From the free-kick, Alex Pearce heads over at the back post. Good chance that.

57 mins. And Leeds pick up their third booking in a matter of minutes as Danny Pugh goes steaming through McAnuff on the touchline. Needless, dangerous and downright stupid by a player who needs to calm down - and could easily have been sent off already.

55 mins. Chance for Reading as Robson-Kanu gets around the last defender - then kicks the ball away with his standing foot as he attempts to take aim at goal. Sums up Reading's frustrations really.

54 mins. Now a foul by Hunt plays into Leeds' hands.

53 mins. Booking for Becchio for a foul on McAnuff. The crowd cheer that one.

51 mins. Snodgrass clears one off the Leeds line after Harte's free-kick causes havoc in the box.

51 mins. Another flare up as Paul Robinson is booked for a foul on Kebe.

49 mins. Jason Roberts was a little greedy there. He tried to skin a defender when Hunt was alone in acres of space.

3.08pm. We're off and the second half continues where the first ended - with a foul on Luciano Becchio by Gorkss.

Once again, Becchioo makes the most of it and Roberts Snodgrass forced a fine save from Adam Federici.

HALF TIME. Reading 0 - 0 Leeds United

It's still goalless here after a firey first half that saw Leeds United reduced to 10 men.

United youngster Zac Thompson was shown a straight red 13 minutes in after clattering into Jobi McAnuff.

But Danny Pugh and Michael Brown probably got away with worse challenges they were not even booked for.

Noel Hunt went close for the Royals and Ian Harte hit the post against his former club .

But that's how close we've been to a goal after a disrupted and frustrating 45 minutes for Royals who will be hoping to make their one-man advantage count after the break.

45 mins. Looks as though Leeds may hold out until half time here.

To be honest, there have been so many fouls, flare-ups and general disruptions it's been hard to find any flow to othe game.

Three minutes of time added on - again which is ridiculous given the time that's been wasted.

40 mins. Reading substitution: Hal Robson-Kanu for Karacan who can play no further part after tacking two heavy challenges from Push then Brown - both of which went unpunished.

Robson-Kanu wide left, McAnuff moves into central midfield.

40 mins. It's looking bad for Karacan. He can't put any weight on his left foot and needs help to get off the pitch.

The youngster won't play any more part today. Terrible and cynical from Brown that.

37 min. Now Brown goes steaming through Karacan, leaving the midfielder in a mess on the floor. Another bad tackle from Brown, and yet again it goes unpunished by referee Darren Drysdale. That's three nasty ones from Brown now and he still hasn't been booked.

34 mins. Roberts is flagged for offside when replays shot he was just on and would have had a clear run on goal.

32 mins. Reading botch up a training ground routine as McAnuff and Hunt both go for Harte's short corner at the same time, and end up getting in each other's way.

31 mins. Reading go close as McAnuff skins Bruce but fires over the bar from a tight angle.

30 mins. Reading appeal for a penalty as Leigertwood's cross hits Alex Bruce. Looked more chest than arm, though,

27 mins. Leeds respond with a decent chance as McCormack drags a shot wide.

23 mins. Pugh certainly left his mark on Karacan who has to change his socks because of the blood.

Now Longergan is down injured after taking a knee in the ribs from Hunt.

21 mins. Another crunching tackle by Leeds' Danny Pugh there leaves Jem Karacan in a crumpled heap.

Replays suggests Pugh's studs were up when he flew into the tackle. I've seen players sent off for much less. In fact, I did a few minutes ago.

But Pugh was not even booked for that. Ridiculous decision.

20 mins. Ian Harte nearly scores against his old club from a cross that flew over Andy Lonergan, hit the inside of the far post, but somehow bounced out.

20 mins. READING HIT THE POST.

18 mins. Ian Harte rifles one over the bar from 25 yards after excellent work b y Jason Roberts. Reading pressing hard for the opener now.

14 mins. Neil Warnock is fuming at the decision to send off Thompson. And it didn't look a straight red to me either.

But the decision's been made and Leeds have a long time to play with only 10 men.

12 mins. And Leeds youngster Zac Thompson is shown a straight red card for a bad tackle on Jobi McAnuff near the touchline.

To be honest, it looked no worse than Michael Brown's tackle on Leigertwood a minute ago - and Brown got away scott free with that one.

Still, Darren Drysdale pulls out a red straight away.

Massive blow for Leeds that, but a massive boost for the Royals.

12 mins. RED CARD FOR LEEDS UNITED.

9 mins. Michael Brown flies through the back of Mikele Leigertwood. It's a nasty foul by a player with a bit of a reputation for that sort of thing.

Leigertwood needs treatment and is back on his feet. Incredibly, Brown isn't booked which is utterly baffling.

8 mins. Excellent work by Jason Roberts, Shaun Cummings and Hunt sees Reading win a corner. Harte whips it in, but Kaspars Gorkss sends a diving header just over the bar. Royals unlucky there.

5 mins. Ross McCormack slips as he lines up a shot for Leeds. Even game so far.

1 mins. Chance for Reading as Noel Hunt heads Ian Harte's free-kick over the bar.

2.03pm. And we're off. Reading in their hoops, Leeds in black and lime green.

1.58pm. Thousands of Reading fans twirl their scarves in the air as the teams emerge from the tunnel.

Even Anton Zingarevich and Sir John Madejski join in.

1.55pm. The atmosphere is building nicely now as we get ready for kick off.

Just to remind you today is a complete sell-out - the first time that has happened this season.

1.45pm. New Royals owner Anton Zingarevich is here today and hopefully Royals can put on a show for the Russian.

His Thames Sports Investment's buy out of Reading is set to go through any day now.

1.25pm. Now here's an interesting stat flying around the press room.

Reading haver the chance to go top of the Championship table for the first time in six years today.

And the last time that happened today's referee, Darren Drysdale, was also in charge of the match.

Reading: (4-4-2): Federici - Cummings, Pearce, Gorkss, Harte - Kebe, Leigertwood, Karacan, McAnuff (c) - Hunt, Roberts. Subs: McCarthy, Le Fondre, Church, Robson-Kanu, Mullins.

Leeds: Lonergan - Pugh, Bromby, Bruce, Thompson, Pugh, Brown, Robinson, Snodgrass (c), McCormack, Becchio. Subs: Rogers, Paynter, Forssell, Webber, Taylor.

1.20pm. The teams are in and Reading name an unchanged side to the one which clinched a memorable win at West Ham last weekend in a crucial promotion battle.

1.10pm. Kick off is under an hour away now and the stands are filling up.

It's the big day when fans can vote for their Chronicle-sponsored Player of the Season, so many thanks to the Supporters Club at Reading for arranging volunteers to hand out voting slips.

There are, of course, other ways to vote via the Chronicle website, Reading FC website and also using the form printed in the Reading Chronicle itself.

So don't miss the chance to register your vote - and there are some top prizes on offer too.
