READING winger Jimmy Kebe is one of three players rated doubtful for tomorrow's promotion clash with Hull City at Madejski Stadium (3pm ko).

The winger, who celebrated his 28th birthday on Thursday, has picked up a knee injury and may be forced to pull out of the squad.

Skipper Jobi McAnuff and midfield enforcer Mikele Leigertwood are also nursing knocks and all three will be put through a fitness test prior to Saturday's kick off.

The news will be a setback for manager Brian McDermott and his pre-match preparations, though Royals' boss is confident his squad is strong enough to cope with the possible triple blow.

"We'll have a look at them then decide what to do," he said. "But we have other options available to us and we will see what happens."

McDermott also singled out Jay Tabb, who came back into the side in last weekend's 2-1 win at Watford: "He was playing well in the team before he took that ball in the face at Burnley.

"Jem Karacan came back in and Tabby has had to be patient ever since. Jay is one of the best professionals I've ever seen. I can't speak highly enough of him as a player and a person."
