FULL-TIME

Jem Karacan is the hero, winning the game for the Royals eight minutes into injury time by tapping in from two yards out.

90+8: GOAL to the Royals!!!! Karacan taps in from inside the six-yard-box after good work from Hunt who had glided into the left side of the box slid it between Grant and the Burnley defence.

90+5: The corner comes to nothing but Gorkss and Robson-Kanu combine well ending in a deflected shot from Kanu safely saved by Grant.

90+4: Another corner to the Royals and Mills will take again. This time from the right and it is nodded behind for a second one from the left.

90+2: Reading have a corner and a chance to exert some pressure of their own. Both teams trying to win this.

90mins: The ball comes straight back though and Reading are under the cosh. Another free-kick to Burnley. This time central and 30 yards out. Cleared. Hold on to your hats!

89mins: Nine minutes added on here. Still plenty of time. But Wallace has a free-kick in a dangerous position which Federici is able to claw away to safety.

88mins: Attendance announced. 13,664 in total including 323 loyal Royals.

85mins: Game hotting up at both ends now. Robson-Kanu first weaving through the Burnley penalty box and then at the other end Austin fires a dangerous cross along the six-yard-box.

83mins: Reading look as though they are denied a stone-wall penalty as Le Fondre is brought down inside the box by Amougou (formerly Andre Bikey). Goal-kick is given. Worth looking at again.

80mins: That was Church's last meaningful contribution as he is replaced by Manset. It's almost an immediate impact from the Beast as he curls an effort left-footed from the right hand corner of the box just wide of the far post. Almost inspired.

76mins: Church goes closest for the Royals so far. Noel Hunt picked the ball up on the left-hand side and crossed flat from deep to Church. The Welshman could only glance his header just wide of the right-hand post.

72mins: Tabb is moving but has been taken on stretcher and with a neck braze. Karacan replaces him and we are back under way.

67mins: Tabb is out cold after charging down a clearance from 'keeper Lee Grant. Struck in the face from just two-yards. Stretcher is on its way on and both clubs' physios are attending to him.

64mins: Too much of the ball up in the air for both teams and neither are getting it wide to their wingers.

60mins: Late challenge by Austin on Mills by the halfway line. Looked a little high but no card for the former Swindon man.

54mins: The substitution seems to have made a real difference and Federici does well to save low at his near post from a Marvin Bartley shot. Noise levels rising at Turf Moor.

53mins: Mills' corner is headed behind for a second but the subsequent is hardly taken after a foul in the box. Burnley's Junior Stanislas is replaced by Keith Treacy.

52mins: Leigertwood wins the ball in midfield and drives down the left channel before crossing to the back post. Easton knocks behind for a corner.

51mins: Le Fondre is own after being clattered from behind by the giant Andre Amougou on the halfway-line.

50mins: Second-half started much the way of the first. No team with control of the game. Rodriguez flashes it wide with a speculative 30-yard-strike.

4.03pm: We're off and there's a change for the Royals. McAnuff who received treatment at the end of the first half is replaced by Noel Hunt.

HALF-TIME: The referee blows his whistle bringing to an end a scrappy but open first-half.

Le Fondre had the Royals' best chance of the half when he was denied from close range by Lee Grant at his near post in the 28th minute. Left-winger Wallace has caused problems Reading problems outside and inside and has twice troubled Federici from outside the box.

45mins: Wallace, Burnley's most dangerous players strikes one from the left-hand corner of the box. Comes off McAnuff but Federici does well to punch the ball wide for a corner.

41mins: Another header into the arms of a goalkeeper. This time Le Fondre heads into Grant's chest from 8-yards-out. Good cross from Robson-Kanu but Le Fondre couldn't get any power behind it. McAnuff is currently receiving treatment but looks like he'll live.

40mins: Game just turning a little bit scrappy. Both teams look capable of getting a goal though.

36mins: First booking of the match goes to Trippier for a cynical foul inside the Reading half as the box-to-box player tried to break.

33mins: Robson-Kanu is down and is claiming an elbow from Wallace. Free-kick has gone the Clarets' way though.

31mins: Tabb fires straight down the throat of Grant from 20 yards out. Reading causing more of a threat now. But its still very open.

29mins: Le Fondre is denied by the 'keeper after a defensive mix-up and seconds later is denied by the linesman after Grant's palmed save from a McAnuff cross dropped to Le Fondre who clipped home. Ruled out though.

27mins: Austin heads into the hands of Federici from another Trippier cross. Burnley switching the ball quickly is causing problems.

23mins: Simon Church hits the free-kick straight into the wall and then concedes a throw in. Wasted.

22mins: McAnuff wins a free-kick on the edge of the box. Just left of centre. He was fouled but had lost control of the ball.

20mins: Closest to a goal so far. Royals switch off defending a throw midway inside their own half and Trippier finds Wallace who cuts inside and fires just over from 20 yards out.

17mins: Reading starting to have some joy down the left with Mills and Robson-Kanu. Wallace will remain a danger in the other direction and McDermott just responded to the Royals fans' calls to 'give us a wave'. Eventful minute.

14mins: Corner won by Burnley after Wallace managed to get Mills all in a twist... several times.

12mins: Royals let off after not clearing a deep Burnley free-kick. Ball drops to Austin 18 yards-out and he fires wide. Looked life a deflection but goal-kick given.

9mins: Simon Church doesn't make any connection with his head unmarked in the six-yard-box. Fairly open start to the game. Both teams looking to get forward stretch the pitch.

3mins: Good work from McAnuff and Cummings down the right wins the Royals a corner. Nodded over the bar by Gorkss after beating his man in the six-yard box. Good chance.

3.00pm: Royals kick-off. Shooting from right to left.

2.56pm: Both teams emerge from the tunnel. Healthy looking crowd here. Good to see.

2.50pm: Turf Moor press box filling up nicely. Royals fans to our left look a little isolated with a stand to themselves. No doubt will be plenty of noise though.

2.37pm: Players warming up, bright and cool afternoon in west Lancashire.
