Royals denied victory by late Blades leveller

READING conceded yet another late goal in a 1-1 draw at Sheffield United tonight.

Shane Long put Royals ahead in the 80th minute with his 13 league goal of the season.

But full-back Andy Griffin tripped Alex Bogdanovic in the box allowing the Blades substitute to level from the spot with less than two minutes to go.

The result leaves Reading 12th in the Championship table with a home fixture against 11th-placed Watford to come at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday (3pm ko).
