READING FC extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Jordon Mutch grabbed his first Royals goal on his debut before Jordan Obita struck his first for more the three years to earn Jaap Stam's men a point after Tom Lawrence had twice given Ipswich the lead.
Stam was far from happy with his side's defending on the day after Reading failed to make it four straight Championship wins in a row.
But they are still unbeaten in four matches ahead of back-to-back home fixtures against Barnsley this Saturday (3pm ko) and Brentford next Tuesday night (8pm ko).
And Stam's side also remain firmly in the promotion hunt in third position, just five points behind Brighton and six behind leaders Newcastle United.
However, Royals have been hit by a string of recent injuries with skipper Paul McShane joining Tiago Ilori, Joey van den Berg and Stephen Quinn on the sidelines.
