READING FC are being heavily linked with a deadline day swoop for Crystal Palace midfielder Jordan Mutch and Australian international striker Tomi Juric.

Reports emerged earlier today suggesting Mutch, 25, is set to join the Royals until the end of the season after falling down the pecking order at Selhurt Park.

The former Birmingham City, Cardiff City and QPR player has made only eight Premier League and cup appearances this season for the struggling Eagles, who replaced ex-Royals boss Alan Pardew with Sam Allardyce in December.

Media reports in Switzerland meanwhile claim Reading have launched a £2m bid to secure the services of Soceroos international Juric from Swiss Super League side FC Luzern.

Juric, who has made 20 appearances for his national team to date, scoring four goals, joined fourth placed FC Luzern from Dutch side Roda JC Kerkrade.

The forward has made 15 appearances so far this season, finding the net five times.
