READING FC's Liam Moore has called on his Royals' team-mates and fans to make Madejski Stadium a fortress when they welcome Cardiff City tomorrow afternoon (3pm ko).

Royals have only lost twice at home this season, including a recent 1-0 defeat at the hands of Ian Holloway's Queens Park Rangers.

But they returned to winning ways on Tuesday evening with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Fulham.

Moore admitted it will be a tough test when Royals take on Neil Warnock's  Bluebirds tomorrow, but he believes they are more than capable of picking up all three points.

"It's going to be a tough game and it's the start of a really tough run-in," he declared.

"You can't expect anything in this league, every team we have played against has come up with different ideas and different problems.

"We have deal with that and try to take advantage. The game against Fulham was our game in hand and we really needed to make the most of that, luckily we did.

"Now it's about trying to go on a bit of a run and carry on making the Madejski Stadium a fortress for us and picking up as many points as we can."

Reading's win over Fulham sent them back into third place in the Championship table, only to be leapfrogged by Leeds United a day later.

It was a tough battle against the Cottagers, including a heart-in-mouth finale when Moore conceded an 89th minute, only for Ali Al-Habsi to step up and save his blushes by denying Chris Martin.

With just three days to prepare for tomorrow's fixture, however, the 23-year-old insisted his team-mates are raring to go.

"The medical staff here are really good, they make sure we get the load right between the games," he continued.

"I think it helps when you get results like against Fulham because then you want the next games to come as quickly as possible.

"Bring on Saturday and I hope we can pick up some more points."
