THIS is the moment two Reading FC players squared up to each other at Middlesbrough last night.
Royals captain Paul McShane and midfielder Danny Williams were involved in an ugly altercation during the latter stages of the 2-1 defeat at the Riverside.
The match was evenly poised at 1-1 after Simon Cox had cancelled out Emilio Nsue's opener for Boro.
But the hosts went on to nick a 94th minute winner through Adam Forshaw to go top of the Championship table.
Reading manager Brian McDermott insisted he did not see the bust-up between his two players at the time.
However, he has since reviewed a video of the incident and has disciplined both players.
The clash has been widely condemned by Reading supporters.
