BREAKING NEWS: Reading FC have just announced the players will NOT be coming out for a lap of honour because fans invaded the pitch. Cue a chorus of boos!

Spoke too soon - the players will be back out for a lap of honour in a minute. the pitch is now clear.

And that appears to be that as the pitch is quickly emptying and fans head home, no doubt dreaming of a trip to Wembley on the weekend of April 18 or 19 for the FA Cup semi final against Arsenal. In Reading's case their first FA Cup semi final since 1927!

Now looks as though the pitch invasion has become one, big selfie fest as fans try and get a snap of themselves with the players of both Reading and Bradford.

Seems as though most of the pitch invasion is all in good humour - though not sure the groundsman will see the funny side of a few thousand fans stamping all over the pitch!

But police and security do their job well and it's quickly calming down now.

Most of the Reading FC fans want to congratulate the players as they walk off - but a significant number are taunting Bradford fans as bottles and a few ripped-up seats are hurled back in return.

FULL TIME: Reading FC 3 - 0 Bradford City.

That's it and Reading FC are off to Wembley. But there's a bit of a pitch invasion here and even fans with flares on the pitch. Let's hope this doesn't get out of hand.

90 mins: THREE MINUTES of time added on.

89 mins: READING SUB: Final change for the Royals as Yakubu replaces Pavel Pogrebnyak.

89 mins: READING CHANCE: Norwood blasts one wide from 25 yards. Can't blame him for trying his luck.

86 mins: READING SUB: Oliver Norwood for Garath McCleary.

85 mins: This game is over now. Reading are happy to knock the ball across the back four - and it seems Bradford are happy to let them do it. The visitors look shattered!

82 mins: READING SUB: Nick Blackman replaces Hal Robson-Kanu, who had a good game tonight and scored the crucial first goal.

81 mins: 'Parky is a Royal' chant the Reading fans. Not sure that will make this defeat any easier to take for the former club skipper and firm Royals favourite.

80 mins: READING CHANCE: Jamie Mackie tests Bantams keeper Ben Williams with a header, but he holds on well.

79 mins: This has been one of the best performances from Reading at home in a long while. I can't really remember Adam Federici being stretched at any point in the match. Admittedly, they are up against League One opposition but you can only beat what's in front of you.

76 mins: Amidst all the chaos, Bradford make their final change as Matt Dolan replaces Knott.

75 mins: And the streaker is escorted off quietly by security - but not after a few rubbish somersaults in the Reading penalty area and in front of Bradford fans. He won't be coming back soon!

74 mins: STREAKER ALERT! A Royals fans is going for it and play is interrupted.

73 mins: Bantams boss Phil Parkinson cuts a forlorn figure down on the touchline. He knows the game is up and that his old club are heading for the Twin Towers!

71 mins: And we've caught the first sight of Bradford City fans conceding defeat and leaving the stadium.

Royals fans, meanwhile, keep bellowing out the songs!

68 mins: READING FC 3 - 0 Bradford City (Jamie Mackie).

GAME. SET. AND. MATCH - Royals are off to Wembley!

And it's a stunning strike from JAMIE MACKIE which surely sends Reading into the semi finals.

Bradford were penned back in their own box and Nathaniel Chalobah beat two players before finding Mackie who took a touch before hammering a low shot past Ben Williams and into the far corner. Great finish from a man on fire. That's four goals in his last four games now.

68 mins: GGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL

65 mins: Having seen the replay, the red card looked a little harsh as Morias caught Chalobah on the arm more than anything. But it was with his boot and his studs were showing, so he certainly gave the referee the option of sending him off.

62 mins: RED CARD BRADFORD: Nightmare for the Bantams here as Filipe Morias was shown a straight red card by referee Mike Jones for a high-footed challenge on Chalobah that caught the young midfielder in the ribs. He can't have too many complaints there, but Bradford fans are going mad.

62 mins: READING CHANCE: Reading win a free kick in a decent position but Nathanial Chalobah fires well over.

61 mins: Reading fans are starting to sing about going to Wembley. Bit too premature?

TONIGHT'S ATTENDANCE: 22,908 including 3,348 Bradford fans. Top effort!

60 mins: BRADFORD SUBS: Billy Clarke and Mark Yeates replace Jon Stead and Andy Halliday.

57 mins: Play stops while Michael Hector gets a head injury seen to.

'You're just a soft, southern you-know-what comes the cry from the Bradford fans, not realising Hector enjoyed a successful loan spell at Aberdeen.

56 mins: You get the feeling that if Bradford don't score soon it could be curtains for Phil Parkinson's visitors here tonight.

53 mins: BRADFORD BOOKING: James Meredith is yellow carded for fouling Garath McCleary.

52 mins: Ridiculous decision by the linesman to award Bradford a throw-in when the ball clearly touched their player last. Nathaniel Chalobah is not happy!

50 mins: So Reading are 40 minutes away from Wembley and a lucrative FA Cup semi final against Arsenal. Can they pull it off? We shall see.

The only disappointment so far is that some Reading fans missed BOTH goals due to the traffic problems.

8.47pm: The second half is underway. No changes for either side at half time.

HALF TIME: Reading FC 2 - 0 Bradford City.

Goals from Hal Robson-Kanu and Garath McCleary in the opening nine minutes put Reading in front at the break.

Time for a quick cup of tea.

45 mins: TWO MINUTES of time added on.

44 mins: Almost half time and Steve Clarke will be delighted with his side's performance in the opening 45 minutes. Reading have shown real grit and tenacity and also plenty of quality when needed.

Bradford, though, are not out of this yet. As they say, 2-0 is a very dangerous scoreline.

40 mins: Apologies for the delay in updates. The club's wifi is in meltdown!

32 mins: BRADFORD BOOKING: It's a yellow for Alan Sheehan now who seemed to land on top of Jamie Mackie as they challenged for a header. Makie was not best pleased and the card was quickly out of Jones' pocket.

Suddenly, there is a bit of an edge to this cup tie now.

30 mins: READING BOOKING: Now Danny Williams gets a yellow card - this time for arguing with the linesman.

29 mins: BRADFORD BOOKING: Billy Knott is yellow carded after remonstrating with referee Mike Jones.

28 mins: Bradford are fighting back here and even though a couple of corners come to nothing, one goal from the Bantams would put a completely different complexion on this game.

25 mins: Slight break in play as Bradford's James Meredith receives treatment. Back under way now and Royals comfortably 2-0 ahead.

24 mins: Nice clean-up work from Alex Pearce there to cut out any danger. Pearce is wearing a face mask tonight having broken his nose in the 0-0 draw at Bradford.

20 mins: Word of warning to Reading fans: Don't start dreaming of Wembley just yet. There is a long way to go in this game.

But as far as starts go, it doesn't get much better than this.

17 mins: READING CHANCE: Danny Williams lets rip from 25 yards and Ben Williams is happy just to punch it away, such was the power in the shot. Reading win a couple of corners on the bounce before Bradford eventually clear their lines.

11 mins: What a fantastic start to this game by Reading. Steve Clarke could not have wished for more. Royals really look up for this tonight.

9 mins: READING FC 2 - 0 Bradford City (Garath McCleary).

Garath McCleary gets his first goal of the season and what a time to score it!

It was a little harsh on Bradford as McCleary cut in from the right and shot with his left foot from the edge of the box - the ball deflecting off the unfortunate Andy Halliday and looping over Ben Williams in the Bantams goal.

9 mins: GGGGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

8 mins: BRADFORD CHANCE: Jon Stead gets clear down the right and whips over a cross. James Hanson pulls off his marker but his header is easily saved by Adam Federici.

6 mins: READING FC 1 - 0 BRADFORD (Hal Robson-Kanu).

And a dream start for Royals here as HAL ROBSON-KANU heads his side in front from a Garath McCleary corner.

6 mins: GGGGGOOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

4 mins: Lung-bursting run from Hal Robson-Kanu down the right sadly comes to nothing. But Royals are on the front foot here!

2 mins: Bright start here and Reading fire the first salvo - but it's a wayward shot from Danny Williams that ends up with the 4,000 Bradford fans in the stand behind.

1 min: Just a reminder, Steve Clarke makes 11 CHANGES to the side that lost at Watford in the league on Saturday.

7.46pm: KICK OFF: And Bradford City get us underway as 'Sweet Caroline' bellows out over the PA system.

7.44pm: The East Stand is virtually full already and we're only seconds away from kick off now.

Incidentally, tonight's referee is Mike Jones.

7.40pm: There may be a lot of empty seats right now but the noise being generated by those already inside is already ear-splitting. This promised to be a sensational atmosphere tonight - let's hope Royals fans can deliver the goods and book a trip to Wembley.

7.38pm: It really is like s trip down memory lane tonight. You can't walk anywhere without bumping into an ex-Reading player. Glenn Little, Martin Keown and Jason Roberts are among the former Royals already spotted and there will be many more in the stands below.

7.36pm: Less than 10 minutes to go now and there are still a lot of empty seats here. Yes, it's filling up, but the traffic problems around the ground have clearly delayed a large number of supporters.

7.33pm: And what a night in store for Phil Parkinson on his return to Reading FC. Parky was and remains a legend in these parts having captained the side for many years during his 11-year stay with the Royals.

He's sure to get a terrific reception from the Royals faithful - and rightly so!

7.30pm: The stadium is filling up nicely now with only 15 until kick off.

So Reading start as slim favourites to go through tonight, but it won't be easy against Phil Parkinson's Bantams who, remember, have already knocked Chelsea and Sunderland out of this year's competition.

7.19pm: CONFIRMED: The game will kick off at 7.45pm as originally planned.

7.11pm: And a massive cheer goes up as the Reading squad emerge from the tunnel for their pre-match routine.

A lot has been said about the state of the Madejski Stadium pitch recently, but it doesn't look too bad from up here in the press box.

Of course that's not to say it won't cut up during the match.

7.05pm: BREAKING NEWS: Tonight's kick off could be delayed due to major traffic problems on the roads outside and the M4 motorway. Royals are expected to make a decision in the next 10 minutes. Watch this space!

7.02pm: It's cold, damp and not a particularly nice evening - but try telling the 24,000-plus Reading and Bradford City fans that! This place will be pumping soon!

7pm: BRADFORD TEAM: Williams, Darby, McArdle, Sheehan, Meredith, Liddle, Morais, Halliday, Knott, Hanson, Stead. Subs: Urwin, Dolan, Clarke, Zoko, Yeates, MacKenzie, Routis.

6.58pm: So Steve Clarke makes a couple of changes to the side that drew 0-0 at Bradford in the original tie nine days ago. Stephen Kelly and Oliver Norwood both miss out, with Chris Gunter and Garath McCleary replacing them.

Clarke did, of course, change almost his entire team at Watford for a 4-1 Championship defeat on Saturday in order to rest players for tonight.

6.50pm: READING TEAM: Federici - Gunter, Hector, Pearce (c), Obita - McCleary, Williams, Chalobah, Mackie - Robson-Kanu - Pogrebnyak.Subs: Anderson, Cooper, Norwood, Karacan, Blackman, Cox, Yakubu.

The tension is building nicely now as we get ready for tonight's big cup clash with a semi-final place at Wembley up for grabs for the winner.

It's a sell out here at Madejski Stadium and we should be in for a cracking night's entertainment.
