LONDON Irish duo Dan Bowden and Adam Thompstone are reportedly set to join Leicester Tigers in the summer.

The Leicester Mercury reports that personal terms have been agreed and that Bowden will fill the space left by Billy Twelvetrees, who is moving to Gloucester, and Jeremy Staunton, who could also leave.

The New Zealander played in 31 out of 32 matches last season and won Irish's Players' Player of the Year award in his debut campaign.

Thompstone, 24, joined the Exiles academy in 2007 and scored nine tries the following season before a dislocated and broken ankle kept him out for over a year.

He has returned to form this season with six tries in his 15 starts but is not included in the squad for the meeting at Harlequins on Saturday (2pm ko).

Topsy Ojo returns to the wing for Exles with Jonathan Joseph partnering Shontayne Hape in the centre and Marland Yarde on the bench.

Delon Armitage also starts as a replacement while Kieran Roche is in the back row alongside Richard Thorpe and Matt Garvey.

Irish team to face Harlequins: Tom Homer; Topsy Ojo; Jonathan Joseph; Shontayne Hape; Sailosi Tagicakibau; Dan Bowden; Darren Allinson; Clarke Dermody (Captain); David Paice; Faan Rautenbach; Nick Kennedy; Bryn Evans; Matt Garvey; Kieran Roche; Richard Thorpe.

Replacements: Brian Blaney; Max Lahiff; Paulica Ion; Ed Siggery; Marland Yarde; Delon Armitage; Adrian Jarvis; Ross Samson.
