PROP Ollie Hoskins has promised to bring the “X factor” to London Irish as they bid to bounce back to the Aviva Premiership.
The 23-year-old English-qualified star has joined from Australian Super Rugby side Western Force, and has promised the club’s supporters he is ready to shine in the Greene King IPA Championship.
He said: “I’m a typical tight head who likes to get the ball in his hand and make some carries, make a lot of tackles as well as locking down the scrum. I’m going to bring a bit of X factor to the tight head position.
“I’m settling in to life here really well, the boys have been really accommodating and it’s been a pretty seamless transition. I feel like I’ve been here a couple of years when I’ve only been here a few weeks.”
- SAMOAN No. 8 Ofisa Treviranus has signed a two-year contract extension with London Irish.
The powerful ball carrier has made 85 appearances since joining the club in 2011.
