A sell-out crowd is expected for what promises to be a fantastic occasion as Reading look to seal a semi-final date with Arsenal at Wembley.
Royals had to settle for a draw at Valley Parade after a passionate home crowd lifted a spirited Bradford and Clarke has called on Reading fans to give them similar support tonight.
“I asked the supporters to come out in the numbers and they’re going to do that,” he said. “If we perform well on the pitch then we can give them a good night.
“It’s amazing how much a loud support can give the players a lift. I think it’s something in football that is underestimated. If you have a passionate home crowd behind the team then your performance level can go up a bit and that’s what we want from the crowd on Monday night.
“It makes a difference when your attacking your favoured end and the supporters are willing you on, the players tend to find a bit extra for them and hopefully that can be the case.
“Hopefully both teams can put on a good show and point out to everybody that there is more to football in this country than the Premier League.”
