Local leagues face another weekend wipeout

The local football programme has again fallen foul of the freezing conditions with widespread postponements already announced for this weekend.

The Reading League have already postponed all their games for this weekend (January 16), while all scheduled matches in the Hellenic League have also been called off.

The Berks & Bucks FA have also postponed all their Junior Cup matches and these will now be scheduled for January 23.

The entire Reading & District Sunday League programme has also been cancelled as the heavy snow melts leading to fears of waterlogging.
