Reading axed manager Brendan Rodgers this week, but who do you think should replace him in the Royals hotseat?
Darren Ferguson, Gareth Southgate and Alan Curbishley have all been linked with the vacant manager's position at the Madejski Stadium, while former Royals great Steve Coppell has also been mentioned with a dramatic return to Reading.
Who would you like to see take over as Reading look to climb away from the Championship drop zone?

Steve Coppell should come back! He did Reading proud before and I am sure he can do it again! Bring back Coppell.

It has to be Coppell! If only until the end of the season - by which time hopefully he will have secured Reading's Championship status for another season. I know there will the naysayers but no one can match his record with the Club. Start the Bring Back Coppell (BBC) campaign now!

I would love to see someone with experience in now.
I think Mr Curbishly is the best man for the post. He will fit in with the club and its culture, as well as bringing in his wealth of experience and contacts.
Fergie Mk II is really another Rodgers, and Parkinson, who has also been mentioned is also not experenced enough as a manager at this level.

Coppell would never come back - what on earth is in it for him? Proof that the players have a lot more to do with success and failure than the manager, for one thing.

Please NOT Darren Ferguson.
Agree nothing in it for Steve Coppell, but he knows how to play 4-4-2!
We need experience now, not someone untried. But with the funds available it won't be anyone expensive...

Almost anyone except Glen Hoddle. He would be a total disaster. He never succeeded in managing anything. And mind games are not going to help us.
Preferably a manager with experience and qualifications, who is not learning/training on the job.
Gareth Southgate?
