VETERAN player-manager Jason Harris scored from the halfway line as Loxwood beat Brimpton 4-1, writes Richard Ashton.

His ball over the top was misjudged by the Brimpton keeper before striker Tom Slade bagged a brace to make it 3-1 at half time.

Dan Pringle headed home a fourth after the break to put the issue beyond doubt.

Loxwood slipped back to losing ways after the Brimpton game, though, going down 2-0 to Berkshire Rovers and 1-0 to Coley Park.

Leaders Sportsman took six points off Maiden Plaice with a 3-1 home win and a concession. They also picked up three points when Berkshire Rovers conceded their game.

Second-placed Coley Park beat Arborfield 5-3, while Tilehurst Club Reserves are up to third following a 10-1 thrashing of Forest FC and forfeitures from Park Villa and Whitley Athletic.

Wokingham & Emmbrook overcame Brimpton Rangers 5-2 after drawing 2-2 with Whitley Athletic, who in turn were beaten 2-1 by Forest FC.

Park Villa crushed Brimpton Rangers 5-0, but then conceded their game at Arborfield, while basement boys 116 Exiles drew 3-3 at Southbank.

The race for the Senior Division title will go to the final game after Reading Irish leapfrogged Emmer Green at the top with a 3-2 win at their rivals.

They are now two points clear, with the two sides due to meet again on Thursday, May 3.

Elsewhere, Kidmore End/The Mod beat Dee Road Rangers 2-1. Eldon Celtic stayed a point clear of nearest rivals Athletico Forest with a game to go in the Premier Division, the two sides having drawn 2-2.

Eldon Celtic had previously lost 3-1 to Mortimer, while Forest claimed three points after AFC Burghfield conceded their game and also beat Mortimer 4-1.

Richfield Rovers Reserves edged out Woodley United 3-2 before drawing 0-0 with Tilehurst YM.

Second-bottom Southcote Colts A shocked Le Galaxy 6-4, while AFC Burghfield gifted Mortimer three points with a concession.

Division One favourites AFC Burghfield Reserves enjoyed a good week, squeezing past Pangbourne & Basildon Barbarians 3-2 and 4-2, and also smashing WS Hobnob 5-0.

Second-placed Woodley Wanderers Reserves – four points off top with three games remaining – twice put Reading United to the sword, recording 10-4 and 8-1 wins on the back of a 7-1 thumping of Burghfield.

Reading United had previously hammered WS Hobnob 6-2.

The Bull remain third after beating Imaan FC 6-2, Burghfield 4-2 and claiming three points from a Spencers Wood forfeiture.

Henley Town enjoyed a good week with a 3-2 success at Spencers Wood, a 5-4 victory at AFC Bradfield and a 1-1 draw with Pangbourne & Basildon Barbarians.

Woolhampton CFC drew 1-1 with S.C. United before beating Spencers Wood 2-0.

AFC Bradfield cruised past Caversham AFC, while Imaan FC conceded their games at S.C. United and Burghfield.

Englefield require just one more point to become Division Three champions after FC Showcase conceded their game.

Twyford Comets’ title hopes suffered a fatal blow when they lost 5-3 at Barton Rovers, although they bounced back with a 2-1 win against Thames Athletic.

Delta Vigo hammered Loddon Valley Rangers 7-1, beat Thames Athletic 2-1, but also conceded their game with Barton Rovers.

Tilehurst Titans beat basement boys Toga Sports 4-1, but they lost the reverse fixture 1-0 and also went down 3-0 to FC Showcase.

AFC Lowfield Green lost 5-0 at Thames Athletic before conceding their game against Barton Rovers.

Southcote Colts defeated AFC Pangbourne 3-0.

South Reading remain top of Division Four after edging out Six Bells 3-2, hammering Fox & Hounds 6-0 and drawing 1-1 with Tilehurst Club A.

Theale are three points behind, but with two games in hand, after beating Caversham United 7-0 and 3-0.

Third-placed Tilehurst Club A beat Shinfield Park United 4-0 and collected three points when Borussia Teeth conceded.

Shinfield Park United had more success earlier in the week, downing Sanctuary Strikers 6-4 and New England 5-0.

Calcot Royals eased past cellar-dwellers Caversham United 5-0, having also beaten Burghfield Reserves 4-2.

The Bugle stuffed New England 6-2, Six Bells dismantled Shinfield Rangers 4-0 and Borussia Teeth edged past Sanctuary Strikers 2-1.
