HIGHMOOR Ibis moved up to 18th in the Premier Division table after earning a point from their 0-0 home draw against Longlevens on Saturday.

It was just a second clean sheet of the season for the Rivermoor side, who were forced to play almost the whole game with 10 men after Kieran Maylen was sent off for foul and abusive language early on.

Highmoor Ibis are home to Tuffley Rovers this Saturday (3pm).

Woodley United were knocked of the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup by beaten FA Vase quarter-finalists Windsor as the away side triumphed 5-0 at Rivermoor on Monday night.

Nadir Shafi put the visitors in front in the 34th minute, and this was followed by two further goals before the break as George Gould and Matt Stockhill got on the scoresheet to put their side 3-0 in front at the interval.

Things got even worse for the Kestrels just four minutes into the second half, Riccardo Cannon finding the back of the net for Windsor, and a fifth goal in just 22 minutes – scored by substitute Adewale Oshilaja – followed shortly afterwards.

Woodley United – who are now second bottom of the Premier Division – host title-chasing Bracknell Town on Monday (7.45pm).

AFC Aldermaston are back in action when they host Flackwell Heath in the Bluefin Sports Supplementary Cup this coming Saturday (3pm).
