Senior Division leaders Dee Road Rangers had their game conceded by Southcote, while 116 Exiles moved second in Division One following a 6-2 thrashing of S.C. United.

Division Three East promotion hopefuls Park Villa suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to rock bottom Loddon Valley Rangers – the basement boys’ first victory.

In Division Three West, Woolhampton CFC smashed Whitley Athletic 5-2, while South Reading battered AFC Caversham 5-1 in Division Four East.

New England obliterated Division Four West tailenders Kennet Valley 9-0, and AFC Pangbourne Reserves eased past Calcot Royals 5-0.

Le Galaxy reached the quarter finals of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup with a 6-1 drubbing of Pinkneys Green, but Polonia Reading were dumped out at the last eight stage following a 5-2 home defeat to Langley Galaxy.

Englefield won their Junior Trophy last 16 clash 2-0 at home to AFC Crowthorne Reserves.

Reading United overcame AFC Basildon to reach the final of the Ted Cambridge Cup.

They will play one of their Division Three East title rivals, Henley Town, in the final, after they enjoyed a stunning 6-3 extra-time win at Coley Park. The sides had drawn 3-3 in 90 minutes. Tom Chaplin grabbed a brace and Sam Earl, Aaron Finch, Huw Barklem and Josh Collins got the other goals for Town.

  • WET weather caused Highmoor Ibis’s Hellenic League Premier Division trip to Tuffley Rovers to be cancelled on Saturday, and also accounted for their Reading Senior Cup home game against Woodcote Stoke Row on Tuesday.

Marcus Richardson’s men travel to Henley Town in the league on Saturday (3pm).

Goals from Charlie Oakley and Jake Nicholls helped Woodley United stun Royal Wootton Bassett 2-1 to reach the third round of the Floodlit Cup on Wednesday.

Their Division One East game against Chinnor at Rivermoor was also postponed on Saturday. They visit Risborough Rangers in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup semi final on Saturday (3pm).
