The End began in impressive fashion and reduced the hosts to 36-4 as opening bowler James Frost (5-77) was in inspired form.

Ryan Bone (64 off 54 balls) led a counter-attack by Yateley, but when he was dismissed by the impressive Abid Ul Wahab (4-25), it triggered a collapse which reduced the Hampshire-based side to 128-9.

However, a brilliant last wicket stand of 54 between the experienced Stuart Lipo (37*) and youngster Harry Bartlett (22) helped the hosts reach 182 when they were finally dismissed at the end of the 42nd over.

Kidmore made a poor start as openers Joe Dixon (10) and Joe Waldron (5) were dismissed to leave them 21-2.

Wickets continued to fall throughout the innings but from 76-5, a useful half century partnership between Jeff Sheldon (36) and Gregor Hearn (32) put the End on course to break their duck.

However, Kidmore were once again unable to convert a winning position into success, and they slumped to a disappointing 141 all out.
