READING CC remain on course for promotion from Thames Valley Division One after a comfortable nine-wicket win over Henley 2nds.
The league leaders restricted their near neighbours to 167-8 from their 52 overs, with David Hartley (3-51) and Alex Patterson (3-29) both claiming three wickets.
And although Gareth Harte fell for a duck early in the reply, fellow opener Paul De Chaud (110*) and skipper David Barr (57*) saw Reading to victory in the 32nd over.
The 20-point success keeps Barr's men 42 points clear of second-placed High Wycombe 2nds at the summit.
Elsewhere, Alex Crawford took 5-23 to help Kidmore End upset high-flying Burnham 2nds in Division 2b.
Crawford's haul was key as Burnham were dismissed for just 125, a total Kidmore chased in 30 overs thanks largely to Tom Sheldon's half century.
Sonning slipped below their rivals Kidmore after losing by 76 runs to Yateley.
Purley-on-Thames were held to a draw by Chalfont St Peter in Division 3a after making 172-8 batting first.
Meanwhile, Chris Cook took 7-41 as Theale & Tilehurst eased to an eight-wicket win over Odiham & Greywell in Division 4b.
