THERE was an excellent turn-out for the cricket master class held by former Pakistan Test star Azhar Mahmood in conjunction with the Reading-based Pure Cricket Academy.

Organiser Bobby Malik, who runs the academy at Blue Coat School, said: “It was a fantastic session. We had 80 attending, aged five to 40, and I am sure they will all have gained plenty of knowledge from Azhar.”
