FINCHAMPSTEAD’S Adam Dewes was in good form for Berkshire in their match against the Middlesex Emerging Players Programme on Sunday, although finished on the losing side at Merchant Taylors’ School.
He took 3-27 off nine overs as the hosts made 197-9 (Savin Perera 64) in their 50 overs.
Berkshire fell 33 runs short as they were bowled out for 164 with Dewes (pictured above) top scoring on 36 off 64 balls before falling to Perera (5-17).
Finchampstead team-mate Andy Rishton (pictured below) made 27 off 69 deliveries.
Berkshire continue their pre-season preparations with a match between all their squad members at Henley on Sunday (11am), with James Morris skippering one side and brother Richard the other.
