KIDMORE END have crushed Maidenhead & Bray by eight wickets to move up to sixth place in Division 2a.
They skittled out their opponents for just 99 in 44.2 overs with Guy Ashby taking 4-38 off 15 overs and Jeff Seldon 3-1 off 4.2.

Kidmore needed just 23 overs to reach their target with Joe Waldron hitting 57 and Tom Burslem 28.

On Saturday they are away again, this time to North Maidenhead, who are second in the table.

In Division 2b, Hurst crashed to a seven-wicket defeat at the hands of Slough 2nds.
Phil Higgs hammered 56 and Usman Ijaz 31 in their total of 162 all out, with Nadeem Syed (6-47) taking the bowling honours for Slough.

The Hurst attack struggled to make much of an impression against the home batsmen and, with Faisal Khan making 60 and Ali Ahmed 34, Slough coasted home at 165-3 off the penultimate ball of the 37th over.

Hurst, who slip down to third place, are home this Saturday to Royal Ascot, the side that took over second place following a 10-wicket demolition of bottom club Chiswick & Whitton when they needed only 126 to win.

Wargrave were also on the end of a heavy reverse in their game with neighbours Henley 2s.

Henley made 238-8 with Jack Davies making 66 and Charlie Homewood 40, before Zac Jones (6-43) and Cameron Jacobsen (4-40) bowled out Wargrave for just 120, of which Luke Taylor contributed 45.

Sonning crashed to an 82-run defeat in their top-of-the-table match with Aldershot in Division 3a.

A magnificent knock of 184 by opener Rory Collins saw the visitors amass a formidable total of 299-5dec in 49 overs.

There was another century, this time from Shalid Kkan (115), but he lacked support and Sonning were dismissed for 217 with Ibraheem Ahmed taking 6-51.

Sonning stay top but their lead over Aldershot is now down to 11 points. They visit Finchampstead 3s this weekend.

Purley moved up to third place following their five-wicket win over Eversley 2nds.
Replying to their visitors’ 233 (Aftab Habib 93), Purley reached their target in the 38th over following useful contributions from Paul Reber with 54, Max Baker-Smith 45, Rob Jeffrey 49 and George Wheeler 40*.

Purley are 67 points behind Aldershot, the side they visit this weekend.

Theale & Tilehurst just managed to hold on for a draw against Thatcham 2s, finishing on 204-9 (Arsian Ahmed 36) off 49 overs as they replied to their hosts’ 233-6dec (Alistair Howell 58).
T&T, who remain third from bottom, are home to table-topping Wokingham 2s on Saturday.

Waqar Ahmed was dismissed when just two runs short of a century when Sonning 2nds (157) lost to Aldershot 2nds (208-7dec) by 51 runs.

They remain second from bottom of Division 5b ahead of this week’s home game with Bracknell.

In Division 6b, Purley 2nds defeated Cove 3rds (140) by eight wickets with Chris Priestley making 76* in their total of 141-2 off 40.2 overs.

Wargrave 2nds edged home against Tilehurst & Theale 2nds by one wicket.

They bowled out their hosts for 144, but struggled themselves against the T&T attack (James Bozarth 7-70) and it needed 16 runs from last man Scott Morton to get them across the line.

Second-in-the-table Royal Ascot 3rds were bowled out for 205 in 46.3 overs before dismissing sixth-placed Hurst 2nds for 193.

Ascot host Theale & Tilehurst 2nds, who are down in eighth place, this Saturday, while Hurst make the short trip to play the third team, Wokingham 3rds.

Dave Howarth hammered 91 as Eversley 3rds posted a useful 255-5dec off 46 overs before restricting Kidmore End 2nds to 229-8 off 44 overs with Matt Reardon-Brown taking 4-70 off 15 overs.

In Division 8a, Dan Mallett, batting at number eight, made 59 in Royal Ascot 4ths total of 161, but that proved no problem for Sonning 3rds, who took just 24.1 overs to win the game by six wickets with Bhuwan Satwah leading the charge with 84 not out.

Ascot are away to Reading 4ths this weekend with both sides struggling in the bottom three of the table.

Wargrave 3rds defeated Wokingham 5ths by 10 runs in Division 9a.

The visitors were dismissed for 182 with Michael Hatley tops scoring on 46. 
Andy Hatley then took 5-25 off 13 sensational overs as the Oaks were bowled out for 172 in 43 overs, Dan Heath being the pick of the batsmen with 53.
