REDINGENSIANS Rams return to National Two South action this Saturday when they host Taunton Titans at Old Bath Road (2.30pm ko).

Rams were without a fixture last weekend and will be looking to bounce back following a 25-19 defeat at Redruth last time out.

That setback in Cornwall ended Rams’ four-match winning streak, though Seb Reynolds’ men remain third in the table.

However, they are now 19 points behind second-placed Chinnor in the promotion race and have plenty of ground to make up over the closing weeks of the season.

Rams are unlikely to have it all their own way this weekend either as they face a Taunton team in fourth place and just one point behind their hosts and with a game in hand.

Reynold’s side must also overcome the psychological barrier of having lost 31-21 at Taunton in the corresponding fixture in November.

And will also have to improve their discipline this weekend after seeing four players pick up yellow cards in their defeat at Redruth.

REDINGENSIANS Rams Titans won 41-5 at Shelford 2nds in the Zoo Sports Shield Division 2 on Saturday. It was their fifth straight win leaving them top of the table.
