CROWTHORNE & Crown Wood returned to winning ways as they thrashed Woodley by seven wickets in the Premier Division, writes Richard Ashton.

Only three visiting players made double figures as Woodley were shot out for just 57, and Muhammed Arshad (28) then continued his good form to fire the Crows to 58-3 in 11.1 overs.

Table-toppers Sulhamstead continued their imperious start to the season with a 178-run drubbing of Ruislip Victoria.

Openers Ryan Brown (75) and Chris Warne (108) shared a 190-run stand to put Sully in command, and Shiva Aruna’s rapid 64 not out from just 38 balls hustled the visitors to 302-2.

In reply, Ruislip never got going as Matt Gill (4-52) and Doug Macdonald (3-9) skittled them for 124.

Sandhurst climbed to second with a 61-run victory against Welford Park.

Adam Birch (65) and Sumit Malla (50) put on 116 for the first wicket for the Camels, although Alex Hutchinson (4-62) and Chris Fox (3-26) hauled Welford back into the contest as Sandhurst were bowled out for 140.

And Jack O’Neil (3-5), Simon Hards (3-11) and James Birch (3-42) then did the damage as Park were dismissed for 140.

Champions West Reading eased to a convincing eight-wicket victory at Peppard Stoke Row.

Ehtsham Iqbal (4-30) was the chief destroyer as PSR were bundled out for just 148, Matt Hopper top scoring with 37 from just 21 balls.

That total never looked like being enough after Zafar Ali (106no) got to work, Wests reaching their target in 37.4 overs.

Berkshire County Sports stunned Woodcote by winning a low-scoring thriller by 37 runs.

Usman Asif made 40 for the hosts, but good spells from Paul Knox (4-37) and Jaimee Jose (3-11) ensured BCS were skittled for just 130.

However, only Graham Furber (54) could handle the hosts’ attack and Asif (5-22) completed a fine all-round performance as Woodcote were knocked over for 93.

Bradfield moved top of Division One with a comfortable eight-wicket demolition of Farley Hill.

David North (6-12) ripped through the Farley batting line-up as they were routed for just 86, opener Michael Sheridan carrying his bat for an unbeaten 42.

And Bradfield had no problem chasing that total down, cruising home in 25.2 overs.

Mortimer West End clung on for a draw in their trip to Checkendon.

Jamie Allaway (96) and John Acland-Hood (60) helped the hosts amass an impressive 269-7, Nick Kingston claiming 4-65.

Rama Adigantla (4-35) was the star for Checks during the reply, but Gavin Stamp’s 54 enabled MWE to close on 208-8.

High-flying Ibis Mapledurham had the better of their draw with Goring on Thames.

Will Mckay’s 116 enabled the hosts to rack up 253-5, but a resolute 48 from Toby Winterbottom meant Goring survived on 202-9.

Emmbrook & Bearwood (81-2) crushed Sulhamstead 2nds (80) by eight wickets.

Olly Nicholson (45) and Under 16 Marcus Laing (41) impressed as Peppard Stoke Row 2nds (214-6) earned a winning draw at West Reading 2nds (192-9). Usman Ali (50) and Waseem Ameen (49) were the main men with the bat for Wests.

Muhammed Hafeez (111), Naveed Naseer (62) and Suneet Basra (59no) piled on the runs for second-placed Shinfield as they had the better of a draw with leaders Waltham St Lawrence in Division Two.

In reply to Shinfield’s 327-6 declared in 42 overs, the Saints made 250-6 – Chris Sharpe (72), Sree Venkarta (55) and Chris Waghorn (51no) all making half centuries.

A magnificent unbeaten 105 from Chris Butcher helped Stratfield Turgis (203-4) claim a fine six-wicket win against Warfield (200-8).

Pavan Naragund smashed 130 as Woodley 2nds posted 245-9 in their winning draw against Crowthorne & Crown Wood 2nds, Dan Finucane (4-49) the pick of the attack.

Nikunj Mehta made 56 in reply, but Ali Naeem’s 4-47 restricted the visitors to 205-7.

Ollie Johnson made an unbeaten 118 to help Earley edge to a winning draw in a classic with Twyford & Ruscombe.

Shiva Nagam took 4-48 as Earley totalled 236-7, but they then kept their opponents to 233-8 despite Nagam (82) and Robin Thompson (65no) adding 145 for the third wicket.

Hawley (75-1) walloped Emmbrook & Bearwood 2nds (72) by nine wickets.

Division Three leaders Sandhurst 2nds enjoyed the better of their draw with Welford Park 2nds.

Andy Tutty (83) was the top scorer as the Camels posted 243-7, but a superb 115 from Manu Chadha ensured Welford survived on 225-6.

James Hern made 59 for Peppard Stoke Row 3rds (190-7), but they lost to a Kaseem Ali-inspired (53no) West Reading 3rds (191-7) by three wickets.

Adam Brookman’s sensational 6-14 helped Knowl Hill (115) beat Purley on Thames 3rds (107) by eight runs in a cracker, while Mortimer conceded their game at Bradfield 2nds.

In Division Four, table-topping Shinfield 2nds had to settle for a winning draw at Waltham St Lawrence 2nds.

Arun Kumar (63) and Kiran Alluri (51) batted well as the visitors reached 260-8, but an excellent 95 from Zaheer Gujjar meant the Saints closed on 224-8.

Stuart Fairhead (69no) carried his bat for Emmbrook & Bearwood 3rds (148), but they were trounced by nine wickets at Mortimer West End 2nds (151-1). John Cumner scored an unbeaten 70 for MWE.

Captain David Harrison scored 101 and Oliver Nethercot chipped in with 57 as Falkland Development (253-6) had by far the better of their draw with Crowthorne & Crown Wood 3rds (125-6).
