A HUGH Barklem hat-trick inspired Henley Town to victory in a five-goal thriller against Reading United in the Ted Cambridge Cup final on Sunday.
The prolific striker put his side 3-0 up before their Division Three East rivals – who had edged out Henley to the league title – hit back with a brace of goals of their own.
However, Henley Town held on for victory.
AFC Pangbourne Reserves won the John Lusted Cup with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out success against Englefield.
The two sides drew 1-1 after extra time, but Pangbourne held their nerve to prevent Englefield from completing a quick-fire cup double following their success in the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy the week before.
Rivermoor Stadium is again the host venue when AFC Burghfield take on Le Galaxy in the Industrial Cup final this coming Sunday (10.30am).
