READING Softball Club is looking for new members to join ahead of the start of the new season, which begins next month.
The club – which was established in 2000 the early part of the millennium – was originally based in Ascot, but moved to Sol Joel Park in Earley in 2014.
It currently has two teams – RG Blue Sox I & II – and plays once a week in the Windsor and Maidenhead Softball League, as well as many weekend tournaments around the UK in Slough, Bristol and as far away as Edinburgh.
The club caters from 18 and above, and is running a taster session at Sol Joel on Sunday, April 23 from 1pm.
All equipment is provided and anyone can just turn up and play, although registering interest on the website – www.rgbluesox.co.uk – is preferable.
