In Division One, Kingfisher A beat Our Lady of Peace B 7-3.

Martin Adams, Justin Mead and Martin Gunn were all just too good for OLOP’s young pairing of Yonaton Slobodskoy and Harry Munro, although Gunn was made to fight all the way before beating Slobodskoy 10-12 11-7 6-11 11-5 11-6.

Daniel Moses’ fine treble helped Our Lady of Peace B towards a 7-3 victory over Kingfisher B, Moses beating Hari Gehlot 11-7 11-9 11-9.

Kingfisher F leapt four points clear at the top of Division Two after beating nearest rivals Kingfisher G 6-4. Sagar Sawant starred for the G team with a fine treble that included a 11-6 9-11 11-7 5-11 12-10 win over Ivor Hardman and an even closer win over Allan Bruton 13-15 11-5 18-16 8-11 11-8.

However, doubles from Hardman and Nigel Keedy saw the F team just hang on for the match win.

Sonning Common & Peppard E held on for a draw with Sonning Common D despite only having two players, Malcolm Gregory with a hat-trick that included an 11-3 9-11 10-12 11-9 14-12 success over Mark Jones after his comeback victory over Allan Mollett 7-11 14-16 11-5 11-1 11-8.

Angus Jones hit a great maximum to help Sonning Common & Peppard F beat Tilehurst Methodists D 7–3 in their Division Four match.

In fact only Patrick O’Sullivan took a game from him. Two days later Tilehurst Methodists D returned to the table and gained a point from Springfield B with Chris Taylor and Roy Hull both gaining doubles. Hull’s double included a great victory over Rob Wilkie who at the time had only lost one set.

In Division Five, Julian James won all three of his matches in fifth game deciders as Sonning Common & Peppard H won their re-arranged fixture with Springfield C 8-2, team mate Mike Casserely also winning all three.

This was the Springfield teams first defeat of the season. Top-of-the-table Our Lady of Peace F beat basement boys Milestone C by the narrowest of margins, 6-4, Laurence De Ste Croix clinching both points and his personal maximum by beating Colin Philips 11-8 11-5 11-5 in the last set of the night.
