READING Rockets chairman Gary Johnson has spoken of his delight after the club received a new car from a generous sponsor.
Steve Tomlin, branch manager of Eden Hyundai, handed over the keys of a brand new Hyundai i30 to Rockets’ head of community programmes, Steph Johnson at the Rose Kiln Lane showroom.
And Gary Johnson said: “This is a magnificent help to Rockets as they travel to serve the communities in and around Reading.”
Tomlin added: “Eden Hyundai has been looking for the right input to serve Reading and its communities so when this opportunity presented itself, we were pleased to partner Reading Rockets in their extensive delivery of healthy lifestyle, educational, community and recreational sessions in and around Reading.
“We sincerely hope it helps them reach more young people and adults alike.”
