DEE Road Rangers secured their third win in four Reading Sunday League Senior Division games as the early-season table-toppers cruised to an impressive 5-2 victory at home to Eastern Rangers.

Barton Rovers climbed to second with a crushing 6-1 win against rock bottom Ghana Stars, while Kidmore End went goal crazy as they made it two wins from two with an 8-2 annihilation of Reading Irish F.C.

Alex Allen scored a brace for Richfield Rovers, but it was not enough as newly-promoted Reading YMCA earned a 4-2 success.

Reigning champions Emmer Green suffered a 1-0 defeat at Whitley Tavern.

In the Premier Division, Woodley United were overwhelmed 7-1 by a very strong Tilehurst Club side.

Woodley were blown away in a 10-minute spell midway through the first half when Tilehurst scored four excellent goals in quick succession.

However, after this shock, Tilehurst had to wait until the 66th minute to make it 5-0 and Woodley grabbed a consolation goal in the 70th minute when a great interchange between Arran Wells and Tom Shone culminated in an excellent cross for Jack Shone to finish from close range.

Tilehurst scored two further goals in the closing minutes against a tiring Woodley side to secure a well deserved victory.

Richfield Rovers Reserves put in another fine performance as they stayed top of the table with a 3-1 home win against struggling Tilehurst YM.

Ellis Mason, Craig Haylett and James Murphy scored the goals for Rovers, leaving the Young Men with just one point from their opening four games of the season.

Purley have two wins from their opening two games after snatching a 4-3 win in a seven-goal thriller at Burghfield.

D.C. Steamers sealed back-to-back victories with a 3-2 success at home to Whitley Wood, and Roebuck thrashed The County 7-2.

Injury-hit Loxwood lost their unbeaten tag in Division Two after suffering a 3-2 defeat at Warwick Arms on Sunday.

Despite being down to the bare bones of a team, Loxwood started well and took a deserved lead when man-of-the-match Jamie Presland headed home from close range.

However, Sean Gracey levelled before the break and a goalkeeping error by Tom McNelly gifted Warwick the lead when Matt Bark pounced.

Umar Shaikh got Loxwood back on level terms after being superbly set up by Jamie Turner but as the game wore on, Loxwood ran out of steam and the home side took advantage when Bark scored his second to complete the victory.

Emmbrook Inn recovered from being 3-1 down at half time to beat Wokingham & Emmbrook 4-3.

Richard Craven fired Inn ahead with a 30 yard effort but Wokingham & Emmbrook came storming back and looked in control at half-time with a 3-1 advantage.

But Emmbrook Inn upped their game after the break with Vinnie Bond and Craven getting them back on terms before Ash Jones headed home the winner five minutes from time.

Pangbourne & Basildon Barbarians dropped their first points of the season as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Imaan, while Le Galaxy moved to within a point of top spot by thrashing Athletico Forest 5-0.

Arborfield eased to a 4-0 win at home to WS Hobnob.

In Division One, early-season table-toppers Mortimer saw their 100 per cent record ended as they lost a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at home to Polonia Reading, while Woodley Wanderers secured a 5-2 victory at Henley Town.

Charvil Rangers beat S.C. United 3-1 to become one of five teams to have won two of their first three games and A.F.C. Burghfield edged past Loddon Valley Rangers 3-2 in an entertaining contest.

Holybrook forfeited their game at The Pub.

In Division Three East, Eldon Celtic moved top with a 7-1 destruction of East Reading Royals, while Mapledurham were beaten 5-2 at Just Play United.

Berkshire Rovers remain winless after slipping to a 4-1 home defeat to Forest F.C, and The Grosvenor overcame Loddon Valley Rangers Reserves 3-2 in an exciting clash.

Tilehurst Club Reserves stayed top of Division Three West with a 1-0 win at Southbank Reserves, while Reading Town beat Woolhampton CFC 3-2.

Falcon edged past Whitley Athletic 2-1, Theale smashed 116 Exiles Reserves 4-0 and Park Villa toppled AFC Basildon 4-2.

Division Four East leaders Kings United kept up their perfect start with a 5-1 victory against Delta Vigo.

Woodford Park lost their opening game 3-2 against Kennet Valley Reserves, Six Bells cruised past Caversham United 3-0 and Borussia Teeth beat Henley YMCA United 4-2.

In Division Four West, YPFC walloped Kennet Valley 8-1, and 116 Exiles A went one better by crushing Southcote Colts 9-1.

AFC Pangbourne Reserves battered Burghfield Reserves 6-1, and The Bugle beat Westfield Athletic 2-1.
