READING goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has been included in the latest Team GB 35-man squad for next month's London 2012 Olympics.
The 22-year-old had been named in Stuart Pearce's original 80-man list and has now survived the first cut.
The squad will eventually be cut down to 18 players next month with four others placed on standby.
McCarthy previously played under Pearce for England Under 21s.
