Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence

 



Shorts Group Ltd. of Station Works, Lyndhurst Road, Ascot, SL5 9ED is applying to change an existing licence as follows:

To  add an operating centre to keep 6 goods vehicles and 1 trailer at Planners Farm, Bracknell Road, Bracknell, RG42 6LR.

Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds, LS9 6NF, stating their reasons, within 21 days of this notice.

Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice. A Guide to Making Representations is available from the Traffic Commissioner’s office.



ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL

(A4130 WHITE HILL, REMENHAM HILL)

(PROHIBITION OF U-TURN) ORDER 2012



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority has made the above-named Order under Sections 1(1)(a), 2(1)(a) and 2(2)(a) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule to the Act.

The effect of the proposed Order is to prohibit any vehicle from making a U-turn on A4130 White Hill between its junction with A321 Wargrave Road and Remenham Church Lane.

The Order was made on 21 May 2012 and shall come into operation on 2 July 2012, subject to the relevant signs complying with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 being displayed.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers

conferred by the above provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or that any procedural requirement contained in an instrument made under that Act has not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(PRINCESS MARINA DRIVE, BAIRD ROAD, SHEERLANDS ROAD AND LANGLEY COMMON ROAD, ARBORFIELD)

(REME CORPS OPEN DAY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF

WAITING) ORDER 2012



NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as

Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Section 14 (1) (a) and 14 (7) (a) of the Road Traffic Temporary Restrictions 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule below.

The reason for these restrictions is to ensure safe passage of through traffic on the day of the REME Corps Weekend 12 event.

The restrictions to vehicular traffic will only be effective whilst the necessary ‘No Waiting’ cones are displayed.

The Order shall come into operation at 09:00 hours Saturday 16th June 2012 and will continue in force until 18:00 hours that same day.

From its junction with Biggs Lane eastwards for a distance of 96 metres.

Baird Road - Both sides

From its junction with Princess Marina Drive eastwards for a distance of 96 metres

Sheerlands Road - Both sides

From its junction with Baird Road southwards for a distance of 1406 metres

Langley Common Road - Both sides

From its junction with A327 Eversley Road eastwards for a distance 33 metres.

 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

 ORDER 2012





NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:



1. Squirrels Way, Earley, between its junctions with Beech Lane and Instow Road.

2. Instow Road, Earley, between its junctions with Squirrels Way and Chelwood Road.

3. Loxwood, Earley, with its junction with Squirrels Way for its entirety.

The reason for these prohibitions is to enable Wokingham Borough Council contractors to undertake essential resurfacing works in safety.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the closure in 1. above will be via Beech Lane, Chelwood Road and Instow Road, or by this route in reverse.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the closure in 2. above will be via Squirrels Way, Beech Lane and Chelwood Road, or by this route in reverse

Access for residents and businesses within the boundaries of these closures will be maintained at all times.

The restrictions to vehicular traffic will only be in effect whilst the necessary signs are displayed.

The Order will come into operation on 14th June 2012 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.  It is, however, anticipated that:



• Squirrels Way will be closed to carry out these works from

   14th to 22nd June 2012    

Instow Road will be closed on 22nd June 2012 only, and

Loxwood will be closed from 20th to 21st June 2012

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2012

 



Take notice that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1) (a) and (c), 2(1) (a) and (b), 2(2) (c) and 4(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which shall be to prohibit waiting along the length of road during the times specified in the Schedule below.

Copies of the draft Order, Statement of Reasons and plan may be inspected at the offices of Traffic, Transport and Road Safety Team, Neighbourhood Services at the address given below between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Mondays to Fridays.  These documents are also available online at www.wokingham.gov.uk/transport-roads-waste/roads/traffic-order-consultations/

Any objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the Traffic Management Section in the Place Based Services P.O. Box 153, Shute End, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 1WL or traffic.management@wokingham.gov.uk by no later than 9th June  2012.
