The station is not the only place in Reading that is hard for strangers to find (Letters, Chronicle, October 15).
At Cemetery Junction there are signs pointing left for all main routes, including the town centre and The Oracle. I sometimes encounter lost motorists in Debeauvoir Road as a result.
I have reported these signs to the council but the council claims that they are not misleading. Apparently, drivers are supposed to know that "left" means "straight on".
