IT IS good news that an independent chairperson has been commissioned to look after the interests and safety of vulnerable children across West Berkshire (Chronicle, July 30).
Perhaps he/she could start by investigating why the royal county's councils and primary care NHS trusts collectively fund and commission just 73 community hands-on child and adolescent mental health (CAMH) staff and eight in and 16 daycare places for the entire royal county?
