THE Princess Royal Trust Carers Service is delighted to announce new extended hours for its Carers Telephone Helpline.

Carers can now call Freephone 0800 988 5462 for information and emotional support on Wednesdays between 7-9pm. The Carers Line is also available weekdays (except Thursdays) 10am - 1pm and 2-4pm.

The PRT Carers Service supports people of all ages who provide unpaid care to a member of their family, friend, partner or neighbour.

As well as a telephone helpline, it provides information about statutory and voluntary services, help with information about benefits, a quarterly newsletter, listening support, a confidential counselling service, carers’ support groups, practical help such as form filling, social activities, an email helpline and help with planning for an emergency.

Carers can make appointments to see an adviser and home visits can also be made.

All our services are free to carers.

Call the Freephone Carers Helpline on 0800 988 5462 or email helpline@prtberks.plus.com for information about any of our services.
