I KNOW we have the Reading Festival each year, with all the big name bands. But why not also have something similar to what Bognor Regis in West Sussex has each year? Set up stages for local bands, with beer tents and night markets. Local bands could be given a chance to express their music. Also, why not have stages for comedians and other acts? It will bring business to the town. Around the same time as its festival, Bognor Regis has an international clown convention, which could be fun for adults and kids. The emergency services could get involved. Shops, cafes, restaurants could make profits.
