I write in answer to Helen Hathaway's question "what moral planet are these people on?" referring to David Laws's contrived tenancy.
Surely he is inhabiting the same moral planet as Lord Mandeson, David Blunkett , Hazel Blears, Jacqui Smith, Baroness Scott, John Prescott, the three labour MPs who are expecting we taxpayers to fund their legal aid, Gordon Brown who got us into this awful economic mess and, most of all, Tony Blair who took the country into an illegal war in Iraq on a pack of lies, causing the deaths of many soldiers and Iraqis, untold misery to that poor country and costing British taxpayers billions of pounds.
I wonder if Ms Hathaway has heard of the saying about stones and glasshouses!
