I would like to thank all the 15,262 people across Wokingham constituency who voted for me at the General Election last week.
My congratulations to John Redwood, who held the seat. I would also like to thank the 2,348 people who voted for me in the local elections on the same day, enabling me to win my council seat with a majority of nearly 500.
I look forward to continuing to work hard as a councillor for the people of Winnersh, and Wokingham Borough as a whole.

- CONGRATULATIONS to Rob Wilson MP on winning the Reading East Seat.
Thanks to everyone who voted for me and helped in my campaign including the flyer printers; leaflet deliverers; the media for bringing forward such a wide debate on issues significant to the electorate both locally and nationally and electoral services for all their hard work.
Commiserations to the unsuccessful candidates. Better luck next time.
Joan Lloyd, Independent candidate - Reading East
- THROUGH your pages may I say a heartfelt thank you to all those voters who placed their cross against my name in the local elections.
Despite all the "Cleggamania" surrounding the Liberal Demcocrats you still decided you wanted me, a Conservative, to continue working on your behalf.
Getting nearly 53% of the votes and nearly doubling my majority has provided me with a resounding mandate to continue the work I started back in 2006. May I reinforce my commitment to work for all the residents of Coronation Ward, regardless of whether you voted for me or not. So please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any issues or problems.
Once again, many, many thanks to the voters of Coronation Ward, Woodley for their emphatic endorsement.
Cllr Keith Baker, Reading Road, Woodley
