I WAS interested to note Shinfield Parish Council's plea in your paper (April 29) about development in this area.

The response from Mark Cupit wasn't very informative as he said that the master plans were not led by the community or the developers, but neglected to say who they were led by.

We the residents, as well as the parish, would love to know who is leading this and what they intend to do. Our parish has had so much to contend with over the last 40 years right up to today with the Junction 11 improvements.

Isn't it time we were allowed to recover some quiet time and settle down as a community again without all this confontation and upset?

Incidentally, we need a secondary school.
