Open letter to Cllr Rendel: It is now some nine days since I sent you the open letter.

I have not heard from you, neither have you made the apologies I asked for. Importantly, I note you are still displaying your unfounded assertions and comments on your personal web page.

You have not a shred of evidence that the Housing Department has lost any reply letters in its filing system.

You cannot substantiate that 1,000+ were "dumped off" the housing list without due regard. You continue to make headlines before you research the facts. You endeavoured to breach the terms of the Data Protection Act by asking for personal details of residents who were either on, or had been on, the common housing register and all in an effort to gather data after the fact.

Come on, apologise.
