Leader column: Parents have done their homework

THE councillors behind the decision to close Ryeish Green School last summer will probably yawn distractedly and say they've heard all the arguments before.
But Wokingham Borough Council perhaps needs reminding that when, in order to be taken more seriously, it exchanged the word 'district' for 'borough' in its title a few years ago, nobody suggested the importance of its rural communities would diminish.
That certainly isn't the view of parents from Beech Hill, Arborfield, Grazeley or Spencers Wood who are so concerned at the lack of accessible secondary education in the west of Wokingham borough
