A SUSPECTED burglar has been charged after a break-in at the former Woodley Age Concern building.

Aaron Kemp, of Blandford Road, Reading, was charged on Thursday (June 29) after being arrested on the same day of the alleged offences.

At around 1.50am the former charity on Southlake Crescent was targeted by thieves and Kemp was arrested nearby when officers were called out to Woodley.

The 33-year-old man has been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on July 7.

He is charged with going equipped for burglary and being found on an enclosed premises.

Woodley Age Concern was forced into administration in March 2016.
