TWO women were freed from a car after it flipped onto its side in a two-car collision.
Firefighters from Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road Fire Stations were called to Pepper Lane in Earley at around 5pm on Monday.
The crash involved a learner driver colliding with a parked car and the road was closed for more than two hours.
A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to a report of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Pepper Lane.
"Crews from Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
"Firefighters found one of the cars to be on its side and so released two women from the car."
Fire crews were at the scene for around 40 minutes, but the incident caused delays during rush hour.
