ANYONE interested in the windfarm planned south of Lower Earley can hear two different takes on the issue tonight and tomorrow.

From 7.30pm tonight (Monday), Tom Brinicombe from windfarm developers Partnerships for Renewables (PfR) is speaking at Maiden Place Community Centre in Kilnsea Drive, Earley on wind energy in general and the specific plans for the Rushy Mead site south of the M4.

The talk has been organised by Earley Environmental Group which wants to hear more about the plans. All are welcome at the talk, which will be held in the community centre's function room.

PfR's plans have prompted a campaign by neighbours opposed to the five-turbine windfarm, who claim their sleep could be affected.

Householders against Rushy Mead (Harm) has organised its own public meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 7.30pm at the British Legion building in Eversley Road, Arborfield. Sleep scientist Christopher Hanning will address the meeting. For details call 07593 955 377.
